Here's my recently upgraded pedalboard
Just added the acoustic modeler, and I have to say that, with an acoustic amp it does really sound good, not a real acoustic but is very similar!
Everything is powered by a 1Spot 1.7ampere power adapter

It is a Customized Hamer Californian 27 fretter. OFR, Duncan Full shred in the bridge and YJM humbucker single in the neck.

Thanks, plus there's not the stereo quad chorus that is built in the amp and it's controlled with a 4 way foot controller, which also controls the amp channel and the volume boost!

Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

Not really a "Rig Of Doom" - unless you're our bass player

This is a gig at a pub so space was limited. If we have a proper stage then I have 4 more guitars! (Burns Brian May, Epiphone Sheraton II, Charvel EVH Art Series (Red, White and Black) and Epiphone G-1275 Double Neck), plus I'll use my VG88 as well as the GR30 (just by the '77BFP with the GK-3).
I use a GT-8, EV-5 (for volume). The Danelctro Graphic EQ is only for the Brian May (he uses a treble booster don't ya know....) and the silver box on the left is a 6 guitar switch unit I made myself (http://www.elliejim.co.uk/quicksilver/selector.htm).
The other switch is the Laney channel selector.

I am looking for an amp that is led muddy than my Mesa dual, but probably just as versatile and can get me a good heavy metal to cover things from the 80's. Would you recommend the JSX for that or perhaps the Carvin Legacy. I've never tried the Legacy, there are no dealers in my province i believe. As for the JSX, i had a quick go on it, i was impressed, but i am not sure if it can get just a tad bit more gain. The problem with the dual, is that i just think it's not my type of sound anymore. I want to be able to get that Vai sound too once in a while, and this amp gets to muddy and does not let my guitar sing. So i still play my Peavey Bandit 112 to get my tone.

It's sad, but i'd really like to be able to use my half stack, and i don't know what to do. I realize this is the wrong thread to be discussing it, but you have about the same amp i have, so you might be able to tell me better what amps i should try.

Thanks, and il post my rig up, i just have to unite the 5 corners of my house. I have guitars in every room lol
