Awesome setup! I saw Vinnie Moore with his ENGL SE the other night and it sounded incredible!

Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

I'm wondering how I'm going to power my rack now. The UK version of Furman power conditioners don't use standard plug sockets, and instead require male IEC connectors (which I've never seen before).

I've seen some sites that I can order the cables from, but I've noticed that some of the equipment that I plan to order doesn't use IEC connectors, like the Crybaby rack wah and the Voodoo Lab GCX.

The plugs cost a couple of quid each, and are as easy to wire as any other plug, so it really isn't a problem as long as you own a screwdriver.

Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

That's a problem for the Cry Baby though, since the power supply will be one of those plugs that are box-shaped. I'm no expert, but I don't know if its possible to re-plug those.

It looks like it would work with a Voodoo Lab pedal Power, but that only supplies 9V-12V, while the Cry Baby is 24V

EDIT: Aha. I looked at the Pedal Power 2 plus, and it supplies 24V. Problem solved since I plan to use stompboxes with my rack anyway. As for the switcher, I decided to wait for the Axess Electronics RX2 instead. It looks to be a pretty good switcher.

RX2 will be great, but have you considered the sound sculpture switchblade? Been using one for a while now and the versatility is really good.

Yeah. I was looking at that one for a while. Looks like a great switcher, but the price is a bit out of my range unfortunately.

It is a tad on the pricey side, but I'm glad I pushed the boat out to get it.

Is there a special page on guitar geek where all those graphics are listed or shown on one page?

Maybe if I have the RX2 and get more money later, I can just sell the RX2 and get a Switchblade

Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

This diagram is hella lame - I know, but there's a good reason for this. I just got my brand new Angstrom Rack custom built for my H & K Switchblade with a 6-space rack. I put everything in there and wired it up and it was cool but I have no way of fastening down the stompboxes in a way that they won't fall out in the event that the rack would be laid down. This is a possibility because I normally have this in a trailer with my band's P.A. but I may toss this in my SUV once and a while (like last weekend) and Velcro simply isn't strong enough to hold the pedals down.

Not pictured here is my JEM7SPBL with a Double Edge piezo bridge, my Suhr Modern 24-fret and my new Bernie 7 String. Everything is in pieces right now... again! So, I'll get some pics up as soon as I figure out my stompbox dilemma.
