Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

Here's mine (Besides my other set up the Mini Marshall and thrash mater )

I use either the G9 or my new stomps (besides the CS3 i've had since 92)
The amp is a 1993 Bandit 112, looks like they have changed style a bit over the years, I assume the innards are going to be pretty much the same as they are now, though that amp was £300 when I bought it, they are much cheaper these days.

Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

The current rig, although I've added a decimator and a Korg DTR-1 to the rack now

I also can't recommend the VHT Ultralead enough, just been gigging with it recentloy, and the thing just destroys. Paired with a bloody murder overdrive it's just insane. ANd the lead tone is to die for!

Anyway, the setup:

VHT Pitbull Ultralead,
ISP Decimator,
Korg DTR-1
Bloody Murder rack OD
RJM Amp Gizmo
TC Electronics G-Major
1xOrange PPC412 custom black with g12k-85's
1xOrange PPC412 custom black with v30's

Behringer fcb1010, dunlop dimebag wah, dunlop switchless wah, digitech whammy and I'm all done!

Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

Heres My most recent. Just got the Deliverance 120 and the Avatar and I really dig it.

Didn't have all my pedals to take a pic of:
Bad Horsie 2
DS-1 ( I hate the DS-1 so I ordered an Xotic BB Preamp today)
A boost I made
A Distortion I made
A Digitech Jam Man
Rocktron Hush

Pretty Basic, but I plan on replacing the Deliverance with a SIG:X, the deliverance has amazing tone, but I would like to have more than 1 channel.

I have a line-in input on the back of my amp that I conenct to. It goes straight to the speakers and doesn't go thru any of the Crate's amp circuitry. The GNX4 has a powerful amp built into already so that's what is driving my Crate speakers. It does have 2 line-in inputs on the back. There's also 2 inputs on the front. If you plug into the front the sound coming out of the GNX4 is going to be "colored" by the circuitry of the Crate. You can do it that way, but you have to make more adjustments to get the sounds you're searching for.

Have you tried going to the Digitech Forum. They've got patchs on there from users making their own presets. I've made several myself and I'm very happy with the sound. I could send you mine if you like. To transfer the preset to your GNX4 you just need to have either a Compact Flash card or a USB cable so you can plug into your computer.

you could explained that in the orignal post instead of all of us getting an aneurysm
thinking about it.Arggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm sorry but nothing on earth comes close to the mini marshall + trash master. Not even god himself can harness the power and fury of that rig.
