Re: Show your "Current" Rigs of doom.. NO OLD PICS ALLOWED

I just bought a GT-8 as well (although I got mine for $300) and am having tons of fun with it. It's a deep unit, so as others have suggested, take your time getting to know it. Also, it works best if you can use the Dual Left/Right mode into two different amps. Way better way to combine sounds.

You have a thing for Destroyers obviously

Is that a MIJ 7VWH or MIC version?

Howdy'

Yeah, bought my 1st destroyer of the shelf in '82 & loved 'em ever since. The "Jem" is actually an '89 RG560 that I rescued some 18mnths ago & decided to "Do her up".All the hardware has been scrounged from an original JEM7VWH,so only the neck 'n' body are original.Allbeit heavily modified & restored.

That black Destroyer with the 3 pickups, it looks like the ones that Phil Collen used for the Pyromania era (Def Leppard), Am I correct?

I'll post pictures when I get my new amp.

I liked the cartoon look of the GuitarGeek site, so here's mine. I typically just use the GNX 4 though.

Damn. Think you have enough pedals? I'm sure the number of cables/power that thing uses is colossal.

Well, like I said, I mostly just use the GNX4 and that's about it. But otherwise, yea, it does use a good number of 9-volts. I actually failed to put in the EQ pedals I have. Oh well, you get the point though.
