sitar effect pedal

well you could use it with a guitar that has piezo.

you could put this pedal infront of the amp you send the piezo signal to, I'm sure this would make it a little more like a real sitar.

Thats what I think i'll be doing with my JPM7

jeff I...no their site doesn't have it yet. Pictures are in ads for guitar mags. And rosskoss of course no pedal could ever emulate the dynamics or the sound perfectly....your talking about the impossable for right now. But if it at least came close you can use it and most people wouldn't know/care. Playing at a live show doesn't mean having the best tone or the best playability.....just entertain them and they are happy..

If you want a good sitar sound (and a lot of other sounds...) you should try the Rolang GR-33. Yes it's a guitar synth. It costs a lot more than the Danelectro pedal, but it opens a world of possibilities that are truly amazing.

The sitar sound is very good. As are the synth pads that can take you into other realms while playing the guitar. One preset worth checking out is one with a Tabla loop sound in the low E string and a sitar sound in the other strings: Instant Asia Rave Party!!!
