Slave amp and stereo sound.

I would like to run my amp(s) in stereo splitting the signal a few milliseconds to achieve a fatter tone and would like to do this by running two heads, one slaved. I did some research and I think this is how its supposed to work.

I love the tone of my jsx and want to run its preamp through the randalls power supply via effects return. The pod will do the task os splitting and delaying the signal and running into the Randalls return will only use the power supply of that amp. Does this look right?
Thanks
Rick

that looks right... just flip the output L + output R from XT around and you should be good to go

Totally. I run my Mesa in stereo slaved to a Mosvalve, and the tone is supreme. You won't be dissapointed with your JSX!

Be ready to get blown away! (and also play with some new settings maybe...) Stereo imaging for chorus, flanging, and delay is unreal. Where you place you amps is important. Get at least 4-6 feet of room inbetween them, that's a good start. Too close and it will sound like a big rig with little variation, and too far and it you'll have spacial distortion/muddiness when you play fast (<15ms), but the modulation effects will sound cooler.

Awesome, thanks. The closest delay setting I can get with the pod is 20ms. Sounds thick with the headphones on panned with no repeats. Cant wait to hear it LOUD!!!

The repeats will kinda throw you off your shredding at first with anything higher than those low settings. 5-15ms is studio quality stereo delay, 20ms is a little more noticable, IMHO. You'll find some good settings!

When you do, throw on a chorus and play Dream Theater's "Lines in the Sand" intro...I think it's mandatory!
