Ok, funniest guitar-related gear problem I've ever seen. *I was paying my Strat, as always, and suddenly, I hear a snap. *I look down...didn't break a string. *Examine my guitar thoroughly, and discover what it was. *MY STRING TREE FLEW OFF!!! *This is one of my
string trees I bought at my
local guitar shop. *It's a "graphite lubricated" string tree. *Works pretty well, but nothing special really. *As you can see by
this picture, the screw that was originally on my guitar was TOO SHORT. *This is what caused the problem. *Anyone else have any humerous gear failure stories?
