snapped whammy bar

So, I was just doing some dives a few nights back, and out of the blue I heard a pop- the bar on my 7620 just snapped off inside the trem cavity. I haven't had a chance to try to take a look inside to confirm this, but it's just a simple matter of unscrewing the retention screw to pop the stub of the bar out, right? Once that little bit of wire's out, there shouldn't be anything holding the tip in place... anyone had this problem before? It wasn't like i was even abusing it or anything, just doing slow dives and holding it down.

Yup- just remove the little retaining screw/wire and pop the stub out. I've never broken one, but have gotten a couple of guitars that had the remains of a broken arm in them. Pretty easy to remedy

Cool, good to know I'm not looking at major surgery. After I cut this month's rent check, then, looks like I'll be sending more money Rich's way.

Rich, man, at the rate I'm going, I'll have bought a guitar's worth of parts from you inside the year.
