Soldano Decatone.... - Anyone have any input on these?

Found a head in exceptional condition for 875$ shipped. *Supposedly they are handmade, in Seattle..

Anyone have any feedback (pun not intended) on these? How they compare to rectifiers, JCMs, etc.. anything would be great! Thanks!

I love the soldano sound, and yes they are handmade in seattle! The decatone has three channels for gain and volume but has a shared EQ across all 3 so isn't as versatile as it could be but at that price I wouldn't be bothered about that as each cannel is voiced differently any way

Exactly right Jono.
Although the decatone is slightly limiting in the EQ factor, *IMHO opinion you will NEVER get a better tonal response from any amp than a Soldano, they constantly blow me away, which is why I'm currently building a SLO100 copy
