Soldano Through PC Speakers - anyone have a decent clip?

Anyone have a decent soundclip or mp3? It can be talentless soulless doodling or Vai and Satch's son brought up by Petrucci. I've always just wanted to hear one to see what everyone's ranting about. The HC reviews are quite good, but I really dont trust them that much.

Soldano Through PC Speakers

If you check out Line6's web site they used to have sound clips. The modern Hi gain is modled on Soldano to give you an idea.

With my POD I used to always use the boogie setting then I saw a Vai sound setting with the Soldano and it is pretty cool.

A real Soldano will be slightly better but a line 6 head will be a lot cheaper.

Soldano Through PC Speakers

A couple of days ago i heard a flextone head live [on TV] and i must say that it really sucked. The guy was probably using the recto setting as he was 'trying' to play metallica stuff. Never heard so much in buzz from one amp :lame:

BTW: your made me remember, i downloaded the whole Flextone demo

Soldano Through PC Speakers

If someone can afford a Soldano, I'd doubt they'd be runnin' it through their pc speakers

The pod mod of soldano is suprisingly accurate actually, obviously not the the real thing, but for pocket change it does a great job.

Soldano Through PC Speakers

Hmm...not that bad a sound. It's sounds something like a marshall on steroids, but the scooped sound is quite thinny [lacks balls...y'know, when it sounds too far away]. I still dont justify all the raving.

Anyone can direct me to some songs? [with a soldano of course]. Prefereably something modern and funky or just plain cool.
