Sonoma Riffworks - with samples

Anyone else use this software?

I downloaded it and have started to play around... thinking about purchasing some more kits. But unsure if I should or not.

At the moment I'm loving it. Came up with these things while just mucking around

Within minutes, and it was done... and all improved too. Testament to the software. But still, I wonder what the longevity of it will be.

So has anyone else got this out there? If you've had it for a while do you still use it? Anyone got any better recommendations for a drum machine/scratch recorder on PC?

Re: Sonoma Riffworks - with samples

Hey Wilch,

Cool stuff... I also use Riffworks, and I have been using it for years now (with my L6 GuitarPort) and love it. It is the perfect tool for the guitar player who wants to record ideas quickly and easily. It will take you much further then that too, if you want. It has some very cool online colaboration features that you can share riffs with other Riffworks users around the world to put together a song across the web!

I have purchased quite a few drummer on-demand tracks... which really helps. Because after you have recorded a dozen or more songs, some of them start to sound the same if you only use the drummers that come with the package. They offer a long list of styles and all of which really sound very professional. And really there is no drum machine that is easier to use and you can even change it after recording!

It comes with a good range of effects that can also be applied after the recording... you just can get it any easier!

Basically, you can't go wrong.
Brent.

I have it also, but to tell you the truth, I'm completely lost when it comes to some of this recording software stuff!

I really need to sit down for a few nights and tinker with some of these things.
