Speaker Repair

Is anyone familiar with repairing guitar speakers? One of my speaker 'rattles' when I hold it by the rim and shake it up and down. I'm not too sure what's making that rattling sound although i don't hear the 'rattling' when its plugged in from an amp. I'm thinking that it could be something in the magnet that's rattling... even then, I don't have a clue what's rattling inside. Is this even repairable? Any help would be appreciated.

Howdy!
I would search on the internet for reconning places. There are a couple in the Dallas, Tx area that are really good. Maybe you could call those folks and ask them if they have a suggestion. Something might be loose inside what they call the spider. When they put a new cone and voice coil in they will be able to look in there and pull the little jem out!
