Speakers for Line6 - Need Help

I have a Line6 Flextone II and I find the tone gets very muddy, and it can't handle much bass at high volumes. *What kind of speakers would you recommend? *And can you plug a speaker cab in through the headphone/direct jack? *(1/4-inch, detects whether it's stereo or mono)

Speakers for Line6

You can plug into the line out, but unless you've got a power amp, you're going to hear nothing, the only exception to this rule is if your Flextone II is a PLUS, which by adding an extension cab will kick you up to 100 watts.

As far as speakers go, I don't have any recommendations, aside from maybe closing the back of your Flextone cabinet.
