standby mode when going for ciggie?

Hi, I have never quite known this, usually if i am going for a smoke or something I just turn my amp off, then when i get back turn it on standby for bout 40 seconds then back on, is it better to do this, or just leave it on standby?

It's better never going for a smoke, it'll save your body and your amp, you won't smell like crap plus more time playing

just leave it on standby so the tubes stay hot and ready for action!

It's probably harder on the tubes turning them off then back on, just leave it on standby.
