Stereo fx loop Question/Dilemna
This is mainly for anyone that uses any Mesa gear (rackmount pre's to be specific). The stereo fx loop generally has a mono out and a stereo return. I was planning to get an EQ (either parametric or graphic) through my Mesa V-twin's fx loop but I wasn't too sure if I should get a mono EQ or a stereo EQ. My question really is, if I get a mono EQ and plugged it through the fx loop, would the left channel be processed or would it EQ both left and right channels? Or... is it 'better' to get a stereo EQ and hook it straight from the preamps output?
