What I would suggest is, unless you really do need the extra configurability of the G-Force, forget it and buy a G-Major.

whats the story with reliabiltiy issues with the TC's stuff.. i keep reading on harmony central a lot of their units get pretty good reviews for tones.. but get killed on reliability and delay in preset switching.. any comments on this??

Yeah, I was looking at a G-Major and the reliability issues that I've read about made me decide against it. The G-Force is supposed to be much better quality from what I understand, but I think I'll stick with my Rocktron units.

i'm looking for one that can be midi controlled along with my amp, Mark IV.. i don't know much about midi, so i'm not sure how to use .. but thats besides the point at this time.. which rocktrons do you have.. i'm predominantly looking for somehting that can just do a variety of reverbs, chorus, delay. nothing insanely crazy.. feel free to give any input you think is useful.. i defeinitly don't have dough for a G-force, though.

Re: TC G force what would you suggest?

The Rocktron Intellifex is great for reverb, chorus and delay and can be found pretty reasonable on that auction site. I have one, it sounds great. It doesn't do channel switching on amps, if you amp has MIDI then it isn't a problem. If you need switching jacks on the effect, the G-Major will do that, but it has been discussed. The Rocktron units that have switching jacks are the Replifex and Multi-Valve, which go for more than the Intellifex.

Hope this helps,
Roger

Also being discussed here: http://www.jemsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38688

I've never encountered any delay in preset switching.
