Tell Me The Best Overdrives You've Tried

I love Overdrives and have been playing for almost 40 years.Only in the last 10 years did I get to the Best Overdrive Pedal in my endless search.
So here it is Top 5
#1 is my Handwired Black E-6 Lovepedal
#2 is my Handwired Twin Sixty Lovepedal
#3 is my Tech 21 Oxford
#4 is my Ibanez Tubescreamer
#5 Catalinbread Silver Kiss Mk2 (English version)

#1 and #2 sometimes I don't know which I like better,The Twin 60 is a GREAT PEDAL so transparent with 2 boost switches very good for Rhythmn,The E-6 is also transparent ,but really good for Metal and leads.
If you get a Lovepedal -go for the Handwired Lovepedal..... forget the price ,You only live once!!!!!!!
What are your favorites?

I ditched my tubes and pedals for a digital/ss rig, could not be happier. But my favorite overdrive is the maxon 808

The only one I've ever owned: an Ibanez TS9
I plan on changing that though. I'm itching to try a Mooer Green Mile Overdrive.

Ice 9 pedal is probably the best sounding O.D. I have ever heard!

TS9dx and DS-1 for me. they cover a lot of ground for very little money.

i can't justify dropping more than $100 on a pedal, let alone $300 for some boutique distortions.

Re: Tell Me The Best Overdrives You've Tried

Man, I bought a used Tech21 Direct drive thing awhile back, and I sold it. It was the best overall drive I"ve found. It just had that sound of a stack without an amp plugged directly into the PA. I also used it in front of a tube amp and it sounded great on the clean channel.. I wish I'd kept it. Tech 21 stuff is good stuff..

The Hardwire CM-2 Tube Overdrive really impressed me. I've currently got an MXR Custom Badass Modified O.D and it's very nice as well.

Re: Tell Me The Best Overdrives You've Tried

For the price, I absolutely LOVE my MXR Micro Amp. Its subtle and transparent and doesn't color my sound. Its more of a "clean boost" than an OD (but sometimes boost and OD are interchangeable depending on the pedal your referring to). Gives my Egnater Tweaker another weapon in its arsenal.

Now, best I've tried but dont own...
