I've also got roughly 30-40 various pedals (The Ibanez 808 & 9 series plus a bunch of odds n' ends).
Guitars are ever-changing. I've actually sold a LOT of what I had in favor of getting a decent amp collection going. I've pretty much settled on my Rick Turner Model 1 and my Relic Strat for the most part so everything else is just for fun. I did just pick up a sweet RG2027X-VV though
I just added a gorgeous PRS CU22 in Raspberry and an SWR California Blonde, which I'm running the piezos from the RG-2027X-VV through. Incredibly versatile guitar!
vaijem, nice dude.
The last time I saw a pic of that room there was more...umm..."floor space"
.
So tell me, if someone said, "hey jam at my place (assume loud drummer)" which amp/s / rack/s would you bring? I think if I had that much stuff that would be my dilema. But hey, not a bad dilema to have!

LOL Nah..no dilemma at all. The Mark IV combo and the Furman pedalboard. That's basically why I kept the Mark IV combo- it's compact and sounds great. It's a great
practice amp

Oh great, I've been looking for a good practice amp for a moderate price. I'll go pick one of those Mark IV's up.
All this gear talk makes me feel like a major amp n00b. I was under the impression a high quality amp didn't need extra effects to sound good

A high-quality amp doesn't NEED effects to sound good, but depending on the band situation that your in, it's nice to have the versatility to create different atmospheres using effects. They just add more colors to the tonal palette. I've done a couple of gigs with nothing but a couple of guitars and my Matchless Chieftain head/cab with the only "effect" being a guitars volume control. But...given the choice, I'd rather have a selection of different effects available, whether I needed them or not.

my rig is pretty basic, and pales in comparison to the majority of stuff people have here.
guitars:
Ibanez Jem 2kDNA #285/300
Ibanez RG570 Flame Maple transparent red
Ibanez RG421 (w/
dimarzio evolution
pups)
Seagull Artist Series - Cameo CW 2003
Samick Warlock
FX:
Line 6 Pod XT pro
BBE Sonic Maximiser
362NR
Morley Bad Horsie Wah
Keeley modified Boss MT-2 Metal Zone
Boss GE-7 Equalizer
Amp:
Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100watt head
Marshall JCM2000 TSL 2x12 cab
live and rehersal:
Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100watt head
w/ BBE Sonic Maximiser 362NR in the loop
Keeley modded MT-2 Metal Zone for boost only
GE-7 EQ to cut through a bit more if I need to
Morley Bad Horsie wah
home recording and practice:
Pod XT pro
BBE Sonic Maximiser 362NR
Bad Horsie wah
I was going to sell the marshall. But then I got the BBE Sonic Maximiser. Night and day difference. Marshall's staying.

My setup is financially challenged because I spent all my money on my guitar.
Ibanex RG1077XLRB--Planet Waves!--Then I usually use the Ibanez 7th heaven. It kinda sucks. Far too...modern, in a very silicon way. Sounds good sometimes. Then, if I use an amp, it's a peavey minx 110. It's good if you are into bodybuilding and kicking it around in a feedback frenzy. Too much low end though. I also use a zoom BFX-708 from time to time. It's not bad, but, as with most of my stuff, it's made for bass. I usually run it through my zoom 4-track.
I have had the oppertunity to play my guitar through a
mesa boogie
half stack, with a electro-harmonix tube
distortion pedal
, and a roland multi-EFX. Perfect. Nothing I have ever heard sounds better.
Acoustics?-My father's 1953 Martin.

The volume and tonebone will be global, then signal will split with mod and delays available for each side. Probably keep the loop on the Rivera side, but I'll have to experiment with that.
Also added a Roland VS 880ex and powered monitors.

This is the current crop of guitars.
Apologies for the bad photos
. Once I have all my rack gear im gonna make a integrated 2x12 cab and 6

Had a blast reading about everyones gear........wow........can't believe how many people are still using the rack systems. Racks will always be far superior to stomp but the cost factor is huge. Glad to see that there are true musicians out there willing to pay serious money for serious tone.
Here's what I'm sport'n:
GUITARS:
Ibanez Jem 77fp......one of the first run......still like new
Peavey G-ninety......with the kahler system.....like the Vandenburg
put a scream'n demon in this one and tribal art on the body.
Ibanez Roadstar II .......fastened chain around the body and headstock of this one......star inlay at the 12th.....3 humbuckers just for looks......made it a hardtail and drop D. Put the high output cermic pickup from the peavey in this guitar. Nice pickup for a stock model.
Pan double cut hollow body with bigsby trem.........put 2 gibson 598t pickups in this one.......nice maple top with a great burst. Nice sound but the neck has alot of radius......makes it hard to go from any guitar i own to this. It also has a boy playing the flute on the headstock....lol...not real cool.
Ibanez RB850 bass........this is the poor man's spector.....lol .....
Candy apple red
metalic.....2 massive pickups with coil taps on both. Nice small neck.....great bass for a guitar player!
Seagull Model 6........Cedar top....cherry wood back and sides......got one of the first runs of these........great little guitar.....I've noticed that alot of the jem owners also play a seagull. Too cool. I treat mine like crap because it's my most played guitar. Sits by the computer to make downloads go by faster.
Yamaha DW-8 - 12 ......This is a 12 string acoustic with a kent armstrong pickup. Used it to record our first cd......very impressed with the result. Hey, it's a yamaha acoustic.....enough said.
Next guitar: Ibanez EP7 acoutic.....maybe.....after reading the posts here.......sounds a little pricey for laminate.
Amps:
Marshall JCM800 2204 head......50 watt
Marshall JCM900 angled cab with metal grill.......see my thread on this!
Line 6 Flextone II head
Laney AOR 50 combo
Effects:
Boss CE -2 chorus
Ibanez delay
dunlop crybaby wah
Ibanez tube screamer
.......i have the original......and the reissue
Electrohamonics small stone phase
Line 6 pedal board
Lots of junk thats not worth mentioning..........like the rocktek plastic distortion I just saw.......where the hell did that come from!

- TC Electronics G-Major
- Mesa/Boogie 2:90 SimulClass Power Amp
CONTROLLED BY:
The Crosshairs (Pedalboard)

INTO
The Arrows (Cabs)
- 4 Avatar 2X12 cabinets, closed back, loaded with
Celestion Vintage
