Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

My rig is simple, but it works well enough for someone with a day job:

RG1570->Crybaby->Digitech GNX1->Crate Celestion 1x12 -or- direct into the soundcard of my computer for recording

I'm soon to be adding a Boss DS-1 after the Crybaby. And eventually I will replace the GNX1 with a Boss GT-6.

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

Guitars: Jem 7VWH, Fender limited editon FMT tele with humbuckers and coil tap, Ibanez Artwood acoustic(the one with the cut away)
Amp:late 60s Musicman RD100 Head and a fender 40th anniversary 4x12 cab (hoping to add a Legacy to that at some point)
pedals (*=not always in rig can be in different places depending):
*boss compression sustainer (sometimes i put it after the distortion and wah)
Morley Bad Horsie Wah
Boss DS-1 Distortion
*Ibanez phaser (i dunno what model, it's orange)
*Snarling Dogs Blues Bawls wah (i usually use this for when i occasionally want that fixed wah sound on something, also has a pretty bitchin overdrive on it too)
it's all strung together with monster cables

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

Guitars:
-Carvin SC127 (looks like the default factory options)
-'95 Gibson Les Paul Classic (sold the stock pickups and replaced them with Gibson BurstburckerTs).
-'03 Ibanez Jem7vwh
-early 50s /late 40s Gibson LG3.

Amps:
-'69 Marshall Major
-'96 Marshall JCM 900 SL-X 2100 (100 watt)
-'92 Vox AC30TBR LE
-'86-'90 Marshall Studio 15

Pedals:
-Keeley Java Boost

Cabinets:
-2 early JCM 800 1960 cabinets... soon to trade the straight cabinet for 4 Celestion Classic Lead speakers for the angled cabinet (which I use)

Update: Put Classic leads in the angled cabinet. Huge difference. I recommend them to anyone with a Marshall. With amps with more lows and less highs, I'd probably recommend V30s first.

Sold:
-'80s G&L S-500 Strat that looks like it survived both World Wars. Bought the Carvin..

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

I'm sure I posted somewhere else in this thread before, but I've since updated my rig...so here's what I'm using now:

I'm using primarily Ibanez RG's with EMGs (mainly RG520's) or Peavey Wolfgangs.
<I have dozens of Ibanezes, two Wolfgangs, several ESPs and a half dozen other axes...I go thru so many, it's not worth listing them all>

As for my main live rig, here's what I'm running now:

Sennheiser EW172 Wireless < split signal and send each to both Randall RM4 preamps.
First RM4 is for my main tone, dry with no effects (except the BBE 422 Sonic Maximizer).
Second RM4 is running with the TC Electronic G-Major then into the BBE 422 Sonic Maximizer.
Out of the 422, the signal is then sent to a Boogie 50/50 power amp (Channel A is main tone, B is wet).

I have several Randall MTS modules (12 right now...several duplicates though)--- I'm currently using the Ultra module for my main tone, but since I'm running two RM4's at the same time, I'm experimenting with running the Ultra as my main tone and a Recto module for my wet tone and it blends quite nicely.
I'm pretty new to the RM4's, but I have to say that they are incredible!!
I'm feeding two Genz Benz G-Flex 2x12's (one wet / one dry)
I'm controlling everything with a Behringer FCB1010 midi controller.

As for other gear I've got:
Line6 Vetta HD
Line6 Flextone HD
Randall RP2/200 power amp
Carvin DCM150 power amp
MosValve 1160 power amp
dbx 215 Graphic EQ
BBE 411 Sonic Maximizer
Alesis Midiverb 4
Yamaha 250 Power Amp
Ibanez HD1500 Harmonizer/Delay
Roland GP100 Preamp
Five (5) Genz Benz G-Flex 2x12 cabinets
Carvin Legacy 4x12
Laney 4x12

Pedals:
Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer
Ibanez PS-9 Phaser
Boss DS-1 Distortion
Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal
Boss HR-2 Harmonist
Peavey DEP-16 Stereo Effects Processor
Peavey Chorus Pedal
Peavey Overdrive Pedal
Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah
Morley Little Alligator Volume Pedal

I'm sure I'm forgetting several things, but oh well...
