That totally looks like stuff someone who doesn't play out would own. Unless he has a personal roadie.
</quote>

CrossingStar - here's the deal...first, I have played out plenty of times, so I know where you're coming from.

I always wanted stacks of cabs and a sh*tload of amps, but could never afford them. Now, I'm a corporate slave but get paid well enough to get much of the gear I've always wanted. Also, I do have a band, but we're taking our time putting our stuff together - everything from songs to image to stage setup. We're in no hurry to go play bars and are reasonably sure we can get fewer but choice gigs at places with fairly big stages.

So, the guitars in our music are tuned G D G C F A D with .010 or .011 strings...and that's why I picked the Warhead cabs. The Warhead stacks are perfect for that sound - the 2x15s sound amazing for low-tuned guitars. The "stage setup" is why I have 3 Warhead stacks - just personal preference - I don't like just one half-stack on stage...I like a wall of amps/cabs. I'll only power one 4x12 and maybe one 2x15 live as I don't want to screw with a P.A. mix....I might even go with mic'ing a cab behind the stacks (facing the rear of the stage)...not sure yet.

Beyond all that, I have enough friends who can/will help move stuff + I'm 230lbs and work out all the time so I have plenty of strength and patience to move this stuff myself. We also have trailers for our gear, so hauling it isn't an issue either.

Last comment on this - having done what my parents wanted me to do, "get an education and get a good job", I find myself VERY unsatisfied with work. The only thing I get TRUE pleasure from (with the exception of my girlfriend) is music...its a small price to pay to haul lots of great gear around, when I get to do what I LOVE.

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

My main setup is now:

Furman DM Power Conditioner
Mesa TriAxis V2.0 (controlled by an Abacus)
Rocktron Xpression
Mesa 2:90

into either my Avatar open back 2X12 loaded with a G12H30 and a Vintage 30 or my Mesa Road King 4X12 cab loaded with 2 Black Shadow 90's and 2 Vintage 30's. Just depends on if ate my wheaties or not before the gig as they both sound awesome.

Guitar of choice varies but, is usually one of the following:

Ibanez RG3120DR
Ibanez JEM7VSBL
Peavey Wolfgang ST
Ibanez SCA420

Already been done bro .

http://www.jemsite.com/forums/showth...&highlight=pmc

Plus this is ex-Glen and ex-Rich, so there's more pics on Jemsite's PMC gallery (very bottom of page 2) http://www.jemsite.com/axes/model/jem77pmc2.htm and there are still some detailed pictures at Ibanez Rules http://www.ibanezrules.com/used/used_sold_jem.htm

BTW, the chrome pups are no longer in the PMC. I think most people will agree that they didn't go together very well. As much as I liked the tone I got from evos and the PMC, it just didn't look right. So I got it put back like original, it was that or painting the PMC blue and I think someone might have shot me for that
