I would have. Even if it meant going to the midlands.

Then it would be I who owned the PMC/blue custom. They would have worshipped me. MMWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHA

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

I've got a 94' YJM Strat, an 02' Jem 7VWH, and play through a modded ADA MP1. That feeds a BBE 482, onto a Mesa 20/20 power amp, and finally to a Mesa 2x12 Recto cab. I have a few Boss pedals I use for effects and a Bad Horsie II Wah.

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

This thread scares me, since 1 1/2 years later I can update my gear list and not have ANY of the gear I started with! And I thought I'd been doing a better job of turning things over less frequently... apparently not!

Guitars: (4) PRS Custom 24's, PRS Standard 24, PRS Singlecut, PRS McCarty Rosewood, PRS McCarty Soapbar, PRS Hollowbody II piezo, PRS EG-1, EB MM JPM 6-string, EB MM JPM 7-string, Casio MG-510 MIDI guitar

Gigging/recording rig: ART power conditioner, Nady UHF10 wireless, Axess GRX4 router/switcher, Ibanez Weeping Demon wah, Carl Martin compressor, Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive, Randall RM4 preamp (Blackface, Brown, Recto, and Ultra Lead modules--all of which are modded), TC Electronic G-Major, Randall RT2/50 power amp, (2) Avatar 2x12 cabs (one open-back with 12GT75's, one closed-back with V30's), Rocktron Midi Mate controller

Rehearsal rig: Snarling Dogs wah, Ibanez TS9DX Tube Screamer, Randall RM100C combo (Plexi, modded SL+, and XTC modules), DOD R848 spring reverb

Other amps: Mesa Mark IV widebody combo w/ Thiele 1x12 extension cab, Mesa Rectoverb combo, extra Randall MTS modules (Modern, Ultra, Top Boost)

Okay, in retrospect, I can't say I don't have ANY of the gear I had a year and a half ago. I still have the same Casio MIDI guitar, Mark IV, Nady wireless unit, 535Q wah, and TS9-DX. But that's about it...

If nothing else, this has prompted me to update the website for my home studio: http://studio.naughtybutterspoon.com It still needs some work, since I'm pretty behind on taking pictures of the PRS guitars. Oh well... one more project for the to-do list!

Part an update, part just to say that I think I may have been funnier back in '03. All the subsequent beer-dousing must be taking the edge off my wit.

Anyway, I still have the strat, basically as it was back then. Currently, it's very busy doing it's best to collect every last dust particle in my bedroom - I love that guitar to bits, but my acoustic is the only 6 I play these days... The J-Station is tucked away in a closet, only coming out for the occasional bass track, and the Crybaby has gone from "sometimes not" to "more often than not, not."

New stuff: The 44 went for a TSL, which went for a Nomad-45 2x12. The 2027 went. I sold the 7620 maybe 3 months back for a new bass, an EDA-905. New additions include my beat-to-hell-yet-strangely-sexy UV7PWH, and a rather minty RG7CST. Also added (and absent from the below pic) is a Martin MC16-GTE acoustic that lately's been getting a lot of playtime.

The mugshot:

It's currently a dead heat between the CST and the PWH for my "main player." They're two totally differnet beasts, with the CST sounding rawer and snappier, better for bluesier stuff, while the UV's a bit deeper but a little smoother, and does high-gain with a little more authority.

-D

(EDIT - this thread really has everything; started by Guitarwizard and featuring Kevan and his J-Customs, Gearjunky insisting he's not Valvulator, the BMC, the many phases of Bdursch's collection... It's like Jemsite all rolled up into a single thread. )
