Anyway, I still have the strat, basically as it was back then. Currently, it's very busy doing it's best to collect every last dust particle in my bedroom - I love that guitar to bits, but my acoustic is the only 6 I play these days... The J-Station is tucked away in a closet, only coming out for the occasional bass track, and the Crybaby has gone from "sometimes not" to "more often than not, not."

New stuff: The 44 went for a TSL, which went for a Nomad-45 2x12. The 2027 went. I sold the 7620 maybe 3 months back for a new bass, an EDA-905. New additions include my beat-to-hell-yet-strangely-sexy UV7PWH, and a rather minty RG7CST. Also added (and absent from the below pic) is a Martin MC16-GTE acoustic that lately's been getting a lot of playtime.

The mugshot:

It's currently a dead heat between the CST and the PWH for my "main player." They're two totally differnet beasts, with the CST sounding rawer and snappier, better for bluesier stuff, while the UV's a bit deeper but a little smoother, and does high-gain with a little more authority.

-D

(EDIT - this thread really has everything; started by Guitarwizard and featuring Kevan and his J-Customs, Gearjunky insisting he's not Valvulator, the BMC, the many phases of Bdursch's collection... It's like Jemsite all rolled up into a single thread. )
i like how you put everything by the window for easy access

Bad news for you, it's since been moved - apparently, one of my neighbors didn't like the fact that I had an open-backed cabinet projecting out the window.

Anyway, I'm from a rather large italian family, you wouldn't survive the attempt.

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

Here is my current rig:

It's not quite done, but i'm getting there. I need to finish wiring up the pedal board and rack once i get the rack/amp head case that's being built or me. Hopefully i'll have that in a week or two. I'm also planning on a rack-mount multieffects unit (something like a G Major) and a rack-mount noise reduction unit (ISP Decimator ProRackG) as well.. i'll post more as i get more stuff

I'm not so happy with my power supply though. If anything before the amp input is power by it, it puts this horrible whistling noise into my signal. But I have the booster and delay in the loop, both powered by it, and there is no whistling from those two units. I'm not sure what to do about that yet. Noise reduction will most likely take care of it

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

Ok, I'll bite:

2004 Am Deluxe Fender Strat- solid mahogany
New UV777BK (getting all my attention right now)
Brownsville Travel Electric
Crappy Yamaha Acoustic

Fender Frontman 15 (need better)

Digitech Jimi Hendrix Exp
Digitech Distortion Factory
Crybaby
Tascam GT-1
Zoom Palmtop Effects

I'm a newbie, so processing myself so I don't sound like **** is top priority.

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

little offtopic:

i've noticed that this thread sometimes fades away and new little threads like "show us your rig" appear on first page. this thread is very big and is one of mt favorites. (i feel many other jemsitesrs love it). so here the idea, maybe will make it sticky?

thanks
