Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

Mesa Roadster + 412 and 212 cabs (not at the same time, one stays where it is, the other moves around - but I bet you can't guess which way round).

'07 Jackson RR1
'91 JEM77FP
'07 ESP Eclipse II (probably gunna sell, I never use it)

I also use Dimarzio cables (leads, cords, whatever you wana call them) and a TS808 pedal that I rarely use, but don't want to sell because it's a good laugh.

I've had a load of other sutff in the past but I keep selling it because I'm indecisive. I order a JP6 BFR a couple of weeks ago after waiting like 3 months, and phoned and cancelled the order the next day and haven't looked back - this is unusual even for me and I still can't explain this slightly weird experience...

Now I want a couple more JEMs, a JPM and maybe a Musicman but I don't know which. My amp should do me for the rest of my life.

Picked up a Marshall 425A to complete the Vintage Modern half-stack, and picked up a 1960A which I'm going to use with either my DSL100, JVM410H, or my TriAmp MK II--whichever sounds best...

Cheers,

Dang... I think I just bought a 1960B as well. Definitely going to have to sell off some 4 x 12 cabinets SOON!

Interesting stuff; how's the Electradyne to live with? Is it awkward sharing so much between three channels?

Also, do you find your Musicman necks get really dirty? I'm thinking of getting one, but if I buy new, I like them to stay looking new!
Thanks

Elecra Dyne is fine. I have played amps that share channels and there always seems to be some sort of tonal limits. With the ED, I believe the pots are stacked or something to change the character. The trim switch on the back really evens out any volume jump. I have always been a two channel guy but love the ED, espically channel 1 and 2. All my MMs are rosewood boards so no problem there. The necks, just wipe them down and every year or so I put some gunstock oil on the neck and all is good. Just bought a 10 year old Axis Super Sport and the neck is really clean.

Re: Tell us about you guitar setup/rig Everyone!!!

Guitars:
Ibanez RG370DX/Jackson Something/Schecter Diamond Omen Extreme 7

to

Effects:
Boss GT-10

to

AMP:
Fender FM100H amp (100w head + 4x12 top-angled cab)
Using the 4 cables method. (So just a poweramp controlled by the GT-10)

Misc:
Neutrik cables, a PlanetWave strap, Tortex picks, some 2mm hard mini-picks and some canadian beer.

It's a simple setup (Guit, gt-10, amp) but it is very efficient; loud and precise. It's all due to the 4 cables method.

edit: A picture is better lol
