The Triple X is here! - New George Lynch sig Amp!!
Guys,
Don't know if you knew this but Peavey are unveiling the new George Lynch sig amp at NAMM...heres the info:
http://www.peavey.com/events/triplex.html
I reckon this could be pretty cool and if it takes off from where the Ultra head took off it could be a good amp!

The Triple X is here!
The Triple X looks great. It appears to be aimed right at the TSL crowd. The specs say no reverb but I wonder if that'll hold true for production? Personally, I'd like to see it w/out reverb. It's a straight ahead design but I didn't see a mention of a half-power switch. I do hope they add that. The
Dweezil Zappa
Twiggy Signature amp looks great, too. Different & definately a Zappa look, but cool. And it sounded fabulous. Check it out:

I hope the cabs Peavey makes for the TripleX are birch. If anyone gets a chance to play it, please give us your opinion.

The XXX has a "Hair" knob. *Why am I not surprised...LOL. *Next thing you know it Jesse from Full house will have his own amp too.
Chrome plate and black theme on it too. *Kind of a Dual Rec look to it. *And 6L6s too, I'd kinda like to test drive that puppy.

Yeah...the "hair" knob is unique, but no sillier than a "ninja boost" on a Rivera or MESA's "love" & "lust" channels or "bold" & "curvacious" switches.

Tomizm,
* * * * * * LOL that was funny. You know, if Peavy made 'Jesse' an amp it would probably have a Jesse/ Elvis theme goin' on.

Only George lynch has the balls to get behind an amp with the name "triple x." Have you seen George lately, hes a ripped monster. The wiggy looks cool as well; saraceno rips.

But does anybody know what the HAIR knob actually does? *Does it make your band sing in harmony, or make your pants tighter? *

I think the hair knob gives your gtr a really cool english accent for those soft ballads.

Sweet! *Like if Hair is on 4- you can nail "When the Children Cry", you need 6- for "High Enough", and 10- is reserved for "Here I Go Again"
