Tips on settin up GSystem with 2 preamp.

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you would have any ideas how I could resolve following problem.

I'm running PSA1.1 into GSystem and Marshall el34 50/50 in stereo.

I want to add marshall JMP-1 to this chain for those classic hair metal tones.

Obviously the GSystems preamp insert is occupied.

JMP-1 will be with me next week so for now everything is just a speculation

Any idea how I could switch between both preamps without any additional gizmos?

You think it would work if I would plug the JMP-1 into one of the Gs fx loops?

You can use any of the loops as preamp inserts. I used to use 2 preamps (1 in insert and 1 in loop 4) Use can actually use all of the loops as preamp inserts if you wish. I emailed TC electronics support before I hooked up my 2 preamps and they said basically what I'm saying now.

^^ what he said, though this only works if you are running through the front of the G system. i personally use it in the loop of my amp
