his presence settings are around 60/10 i think, to get that pick attack sound

Thats myself with a legacy, SD-1 boosting, and an rg1570 with evos. Comes pretty close..

I altered the way i hold the pick and it REALLY does make a huge difference when coming to getting his tone. or close at least.

Just get a Boss Paul Gilbert pedal. They make you play and sound exactly like him. It's amazing how it replicates his entire rig and playing style, and all in one pedal.
