Trace Elliot Speed Twin

Having recently purchased a Trace Elliot Bonneville I'm now very interested in other Trace Elliot Guitar Works amps. However, since Gibson bought Trace around '98 I'm concerned w/quality control. Before Gibson, Trace hand made the Trident, Speed Twin, & Bonneville heads & combos, along with the Velocette range. Post Gibson, Trace builds only the Speed Twin & the Velocette & most of that line is now the "gibson gold tone" series.
I was looking for comments & opinions from anyone who may have experience with these current production Speed Twin amps. I hope Gibson has not scaled back on quality control & primo components in Trace's Guitar Works Custom Shop, just to save $$$. But the fact that they dropped two models concerns me.
And, we don't get to see these amps reviewed in US guitar mags, which is a shame.

Hoping someone can address this.....thanks much!

Trace Elliot Speed Twin

I am pretty sure the standards are still there, unlike a lot of Gibbo guitars.

There are probably some reviews here:

Trace Elliot Speed Twin

I had a pre gibson trace speed twin stack I used for about a year it was very nice. *great tone, I'd buy another one in a minute the only thing that sucked was the reverb it sound really fake and I had to have it retubed all the time they are very fragile
