Anyone know of any PC software that can slow tunes down but not change the pitch?

Thanks

Cool Edit or Cool Edit Pro will do it. (Time compression/expansion) It does a lot of other audio manipulation and converts to multiple audio formats, including mp3, as well. It works with your standard pc audio card. You can download a free demo version.

Bob,
*Thanks. I have been trying for a while to get the solo to body talk by ratt down. Yeah I know, Ratt. Demartini is one of my favorite guitarists. I really needed to slow it down but stay in key. He slurs a ton of notes in this solo so staying in key was, well, key.

Worked flawlessly - Thanks again.

Dave

i have been using transcribe:
http://www.seventhstring.demon.co.uk/xscribe/index.html
it has a 30 day limit, but if you have trouble
paying it can be pushed to 1 year.
just to add another option to your set.

I bought Guitar Tracks from Cakewalk, it comes with something called SlowBlast.
Only problem I had with it was that the slower I set the speed, the more Cathedral Reverb seemed to come into the mix. *Wasn't part of the song, Slowblast side effect I guess.

If you're using Cakewalk, just pull the track in as a .wav file and adjust the tempo for your whole project.

If you cut the tempo in half, you will get a slowed-down track with no reverb side effects. *

(At least, that's how MY computer works...) *
