Mounting depth is 14.3 inches, per Mesa Boogie.

If you're using an SKB, the covers have almost 2" of space as well, so you can use normal 1/4 plugs.

Re: triaxis mounting depth

it's not skb.. it's a custom made head/rack combo case (back panel has foam which could probably be either removed or trimmed for more space), which i have a mark iv head in and and quad preamp controlled by 2 gcx switchers. and i'm thinking of selling the mark, the quad and a gcx and doing a triaxis/JMP-1/2:90 setup; signal path also controlled by the GCX to get the best of both mesa and marshall worlds. I would get more verstality plus.. less space taken up by poweramp and preamp stuff. i'd simply take the head out of the bottom and built a small rack case for a power amp and something else. maybe just leave space for ventilation for the power amp, but thats what i'm thinking right now.

are you sure?

it seems like a perfect square.

I'm thinking 18"

I could be off. I sold mine for no good reason except to make a profit.

Plus I bought a CAE

I'm reporting what mesa says in the owner's manual under dimensions.
If I remember, I'll measure mine at the rehearsal space.

Deepest piece of rack gear I've had my hands on. If you plug all your cables in and LEAVE them that way, you'll be fine. Right angle cables would be a little easier getting in and out. I'm using an SKB with 16" depth and straight cables.
