Ts9dx....

Hey , I was wondering if you could ask a few questions. I have a Flextone 2 so it's a SS.. and I wanna get a boost pedal, I already have a DS-1 but it dosen't work that great with SS(as a boost) and I've heard lots about the TS9DX, so will this give my SS the boost that I need? Or is it like the DS-1 and only really truly boost Tube amps?

Also what is the average price (Canadian Dollars) for one? (Some sound clips would be nice)

Re: Ts9dx....

I don't think booster/overdrive pedals work well with solid state amplifiers, the flextone 2 already contains loads of different high gain amplifier models, so I guess there really is no point of getting a booster/overdrive pedal like the TS9DX for it

Re: Ts9dx....

For just clean boost.......try the seymore duncan pickup booster. It has 25db of boost with little added distortion.

Re: Ts9dx....

sites not working for me

Well I have 265 dollars to spend now, I think(once again I've changed my mind) I'll save up for a nice USED tube amp from a guy I know...then get that pedal, considering they only work really good with tube amps..
