Tube Rig on the Cheap

How does sound for a super cheap Class A "boutique" tube rig?

Epiphone Valve Jr. Head (5 watts Class A): $99
2 X 12" Lopoline Cabinet (empty): $130 (****)
2 CELESTION Rocket 50 Guitar Amp 12" Speakers $68 (****)

All for less than $300. You could do a 1x12 version for for less than $240.

Probably sounds really nice. You'll have to try it and see.

Re: Tube Rig on the Cheap

Those epiphone amps are great for the cash. I was thinking about getting one for a practice rig to have up in my room.
