I suspect that my tubes are getting a bit old.
what signs of wear and tear should i be aware of?
what can happen if i don't change them?

Some things I notice:

Take longer to warm up
Don't have the same punch or kick when really driving them
A slight static noise

I replace mine about every 6 months
