Uh oh? Mesa Trident Stiletto Tubes

So I fire up my brand new Trident Stiletto that I got for one grand and it works fine for the first few days.

Then today, my band and I were taking a break and I happened to be sitting behind my amp (for some unknown reason, besides the fact that there was a couch there haha)

And I look at my tubes and all 6 power tubes are lit, but I have the switch on 50W, not 150W. Is this normal? If not, what do I need to do to fix this?

Re: Uh oh? Mesa Trident Stiletto Tubes

The glow is just the heater elements in the tubes, the circuitry probably leaves these running for all valves in case you switch to full power so they are immediately ready to go.

THat is so awfully terrible, I can't explain it.
You need to box that POS up right now and ship it to me.
I'll take that mutant atrocity off your hands for you, and I'll send you a nice Roland Jazz Chorus to take its place, and maybe a couple Boss Metal pedals.

Hurry now and PM me for my address!

JK
SMC hit the nail on the head. Totally normal and quite desirable.
They glow perty, don't they?
