www.gak.co.uk usually have the best prices. As for finance, I don't know about that.

Sound Control do finance...I have used this service for a Telecaster in 2004...
they use Clydesdale Financial Services, I got 12 months interest free credit, but that depends on how much you spend (and subject to a credit check).

The Oxford Street branch is good, it's in the basement of Virgin Megastore.

GAK do finance over the phone, 0%.

Just ring them and ask for Stefan, he will sort you out with whatever you need. He is the best one to deal with and knows what he's talking about for sure. But I agree with Dee, I would definitely go through GAK. They have the best service and are (more often than not) the cheapest around.

Re: Uk guys help me out please

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will give them a call later today, I was looking for a two year loan. I think a year would be pushing it as I know i'm changing car in october to a Honda DC5 integra and cost are gonna be steep for the first year so i need a loan to take me just over that. As much as I love guitar the need for speed comes first as that gets me to work to pay for more lol.

Been looking mainly at the Fender hot rod deville 212, sound very nice. Any feedback on these?

Re: Uk guys help me out please

Just spoke with stefan, top bloke, chatted to him about what I need and he's sold me up to a Mesa Boogie F-50.
Lol gone from the deville at £650 up to the cyber twin at £1050 then to the mesa at £1100. They should advertise the fact that they do interest free credit on 6, 12 or 24 months. OK things are looking up. £50 a month I can have a Mesa!

Did you already buy the amp? If not, I'd wait until you find a second hand Rectoverb. They go for about £850 on ****.

Re: Uk guys help me out please

Think i'm gonna try and see if I can find a messa f-50 to try out. Anyone had any experience of these? Any opinions versus the fender cyber twin? I'd rather not buy a second hand amp, one of my mates bought a second hand Rivera (very very nice sounding) and had nothing but trouble with it. Spent more fixing it than he did buying it. Ended up buying some £2000 messa head instead although i'm yet to hear that.

Yeah, he is a good guy to deal with. And what I like about him (and GAK as a whole) is the general service. Unlike nearly all other major online guitar shops, GAK actually email you back. It sometimes takes a couple of days but they can always be relied on.

The Mesa F-series is great by all accounts. I would love to own an F-30 for small gigs/jams. All the reviews I have read have been raving too.

Re: Uk guys help me out please

Nope just a Dc brick and a lil marshall micro stack for fun... they dispatched on Monday and arrived Wednesday.

it came in a packaged bag, didnt look TOO safe, but it was aok

I'd imagine the guitars are done accordingly though... sure just order a hardcase with it.

http://www.city-link.co.uk/ - theres the courier service they use

and heres What the orders look like

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...tylinkpage.jpg

still waitin on the t shirt, dont even know why i bought it lol... same with the microstack

I used them cause i wanted a UK adapter plug on the brick cause here in Dublin I went into a local music shop and paid 160 euro for a DC brick last one so i got the display one... got it home and i had the wrong power cords.. so went back and got the leads... brought it home tried it out... Wrong adapter i didnt get the Dunlop adapter for it

So i said fine order a new one in, it'll take a week...

went back ina month and wanted a refund, but i went in early and there wasnt enough cash in the till

SO 2 months later i went in and got a refund ordered it on Gak and had it ina week.... I hate ovevrpriced Irish music shops.

Re: Uk guys help me out please

I'm definatly going to order from GAK. You guys have convinced me enough that they are good. Gonna get a 2x10 cab for my bass rig at the same time and add it onto the credit agreement.
