That would be wonderful, although I'd worry that for the cost of the envelope and stamps to get to Australia that it would be more than the pick itself! How much would I need to cover it?

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

Gonna give it a try once I find it around here in Brazil. I've recently became hooked on the Vai picks though. Thinking of buying a few bags of it in the near future

Hehe, don't be silly. It'll cost very little. PM me an address mate and I'll pop one in the post tomorrow.

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

One thing I have noticed about the new ultex version is that is doesn't wear gracefully. Unlike the red and black ones, the picking edge overtime gets rough. Which is easy enough to fix, but the red and black ones never develope a rough edge.

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

Mine are all good. They don't seem to wear hardly at all, they seem to last forever! No rough edges here. Maybe picking style affects this?

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

Not at all, I have a very soft picking technique. Though when my band practices, its about 8 hours at a time with few breaks. I should also mention I've been using the same one for months. I lost 2 out of the 3 they sent me Though I still have tons of black and red ones and do they wear better imo. I don't mean to imply they wear any fast, they do take longer to wear than the standard ones to me, but when their edge start to wear I have to take a lighter to them for a split second.

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

Also forgot to mention my other guitarist doesn't have nearly as light a picking style as me, and he uses them sometimes. Same for him though, red an black ones don't develope a rough edge.

So for heavy pickers out there, you might prefer the standard versions of this pick.

Yeah, these things are easy to lose. I can't count the times mine have disappeared. It doesn't help that my carpet is a similar colour. They should make bright red ones or something.

Really it's only really annoying drawback is how easy they are to lose. Maybe a multicolored one would be easier to see. Seriously though, I lose more jazz 3's than any other pick, besides the red ones.

Thumbs up

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

I've been using these over the last couple of days, and I'm really impressed with them. They sound good, hardly no wear, and they stay put in your fingers. 2 thumbs up!

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

I just picked up a couple of these last weekend. I really like them - they're easy to grip and play with . . . . They're stiffer than the red ones . . . . And it seems like you could play with them for a long time without wearing them out . . .

Re: Ultex Jazz III review

I was rearranging and cleaning the practice space and found 15 of them hiding on the tan carpet.Think I might take a bright colored sharpie to them so they are a little more visible.
