URGENT HELP? DUAL RECTO OPINION

i'm buying a mesa dual rectifier.

i have a choice of 2

$3000AUD for a 2003, 3 channel head.

or $2500AUD for the 2 channel version

which one do i get?

is the 2 channel really alot better?

the reason i need to know urgently.

is cause i have to pick ONE of them up tommorrow.

i have band practise tommorrow night, and i sold my amp yesterday.

yeah but soundwise is there a difference.

i never use clean so only having 2 channels won't bother me.

thanks for the flood of answers to help me make my decision.

the guy who was selling the 2 channel had a JCM 900 cab for sale as well so i got the lot for $2900 which isn't too bad.
