Using powered speakers for my guitar

Can anyone tell me if using one of these will sound any good with a Boss GT-6 preamp or POD? Im looking at trying 2 of these instead of going the guitar amp into 2 2X12 cab route. thanks for any help

I don't know if you plan on using it in a live situation or just at home but IMO I would just go with a 2x12 and a power amp. I tried a similar setup at a gig once, just running direct into the pa with a pod(which is basically what you would have) and it just didn't feel right. It seemed to lack "life".

IMHO- A full ranged PA speaker sound NOTHING like a guitar.

If you really like the tone of pod, just get a tube power amp and a stereo
guitar cab and be happy!

It's probably what I'm going to do with my current setup. I'm tired
of dealing with heads...
