V-Amp Pro Firmware versions

Hi,

Just got my hands on one for I price I couldn't leave it. Firmware is 2.2.3, but the latest seems to be 2.2.4 and needs a replacement of an eeprom. I can't find any info about the difference in versions.

Anyone an idea and if it's a must ?

I don't think it''s a must. I am pretty sure mine is the same firmware version as yours and it's fine. I am interested to know what the actual differences are, if you find out.

Hey Dee, launched that question again at Behringer support and got following answer this time, so no worries indeed:

the new upgrade offers only for the fabrication pertinent informations
there are no new moddels or effect types included.
