*The VG 88, if I remember correctly, requires one of those Hex/guitar synth pickups. *That means buy several of them (the hex pickup) or use one guitar. *With the Roland, you can program in what kind of Guitar you want to model, but that seems a little more far fetched to me than amp modeling. *I would go with the POD Pro and the floorboard (it's a must-have)
