Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde V2 Pedal

Has anyone tried one of these? I like the idea and have heard some pretty sweet clips but haven't been able to find one to try out. If someone could drop a quick review that would be great.

Thanks.

Re: Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde V2 Pedal

Is there a huge difference in the sound of the V2 and the original? Other than the "noiseless system"?

Come on I know some of you have used this pedal

ive owned the old model, just recently sold it.. GREAT pedal, sounds good on a wide variety of gear.. the switches alone turn me off from the new model

I just bought the new version and I agree. It takes time to adjust to those switches. I'm not doing gigs currently so I only press them with my hand or barefoot. I don't know how they will hold in a gig situation since they are "clickless" like Boss pedals but lack the massive construction of the boss switch pedal.
As for sound, it took me a couple of days to find exactly what I want but I found some very nice useful settings along the way. The booklet that comes with it has some settins suggetions that did not realy work for me but they were a good starting point.

the OD is similar to a tube screamer circuit and the compressor is great, more of a vintage feel.. i really like it, tightens up the clean tone.. the pedal is great for blues, its not a high gain box like the JH though
