Voodoo labs pedal power 2 plus or normal power strip?

I'm currently working on building my pedalboard rig and thinking about using a voodoo labs pedal power plus 2 but don't know if it is compatible with all the pedals i have in my rig. My rig consists of:

Line 6 M13
Vox Satchurator (i'm pretty sure this will work)
Eventide Pitch Factor
TC voicelive floor processor

Can anyone tell me if the voodoo labs will be safe to use with all the pedals above??

Or am I better off just using a normal power strip?

I just dont want to rely on using batteries, i'm looking for a pedalboard rig where I can just turn on the power, plug in my guitar, and start jamming. Not willing to change out batteries all the time.

Hi there -

Definitely works with the Satchurator. For the others, the best way to get the definitive answer is to drop a line to the Voodoolabs support people and tell them what you have.

They answer pretty quickly and will have tested it out on most pedals (I got an answer from them within a day on using the PP2+ with a TC Nova Modulator and Fulltone Octafuzz).

For one pedal that it couldn't power from one of its outlets (the Digitech EX-7), I made a small cable that ran a small power strip from the courtesy outlet of the PP2+ that I attached to my pedal board and I plugged the EX7 power supply directly into that, so I still have only one power lead going out of the board (for the PP2+).

Good Luck!

Re: Voodoo labs pedal power 2 plus or normal power strip?

I emailed voodoo labs, they said the pedal power will not be able to power the M13, Eventide Pitch factor, or the TC voice live since they require more than the labs provides, they advise not to use it.
So I guess I'll have to pass on the voodoo labs if the only pedal that can use it is the satchurator. I'll have to get a power conditioner then like a furman or something
