Voodoo pedal power the way to go to power pedals ?

Title says it all. Quite expensive but it seems to work. pedals with separate adapters between guitar/amp and in the loop = Humming bird fest. And I don't like the hassle of batteries. Besides that delay pedals eat batteries like mad, and some pedals I have don't have a battery compartment. So I want to finish this pain in the rear once and for all.

Yes, it's a great way to power your pedals. However, be sure it has the voltages you are looking for.

The pedal power 2plus can be used for 9v, 12v, (18v with the right cables) DC.

Voodoolab also released some new versions this year, but I don't know much about those.

I think the pedal power 2plus is great.

Either Voodoo PP2+ or T-Rex Fuel Tank Classic.

Hmmm, T-Rex Fuel Tank Classic is suite less expensive. It does not officially have the 18v option, but I guess it could be done the same way it is done on the Voodoo's with a cable using 2 9V's.

hum-wise etc... is the Trex on par with the voodoo axemanrio ? had a chance to test them both ?

The Fuel Tank Classic can't power 18v pedals because you can't combine two 9v outputs, only the Fuel Tank Junior lets you do that. Did not try a Voodoo PP2+ but I have not had any trouble with my Fuel Tank.

Re: Voodoo pedal power the way to go to power pedals ?

ah thx for the heads up. The Junior has only 5 connectors. I was wondering if it would be possbile (since all 9v outputs share the same ground anyway), if I could combine my overdrives that all have very little consumption, connect to 1 9v outlet with a daisy chain cable I have. Or would that be again be a possible source of humm etc ? I don't have 12v pedals, nor AC driven. Only a Dunlop 535Q 18v-er, so I junior might work out well If the daisy chain would be a possibility.

Then there is that strange BBE Supa Charger, which seems to be a voodoo rip off, witch some function removed (like the SAG, things most people don't need).

Uhm... apparently that seems to be the case:
"Fuel Tank Junior comes with 10 standard pedal cables and a link cable that lets you power 5 separate units (total maximum of 120mA) off a single output. "

This might exactly be fit for my needs for a decent price... cool!

I'm working with the supa charger and it does what it is suppose to do (power up my pedals )for a lot less money. I have it for over a year now and it is working just fine.

I have it too and its quite nifty, i had a VS one spot and its just cumbersome as its one continuous cable and just makes a huge hassle. The supa-charger is cheaper then most other ones i checked out and the 9/12/16 volts is cool, could use 18 v spots but its still good.

Well, turns out the Supa charger is in most cases the same price as the Voodoo labs pp2+! So I got my hands on a used T-Rex junior which should be enough for my needs and within a very nice budget.

Lateralus:... is this Carvin Legacy madman Lateralus ? pmike aka Ace here (this would be quite a coincidence )
