I've got a Chameleon that is the same as a Voodu Valve without the 12ax7. I love it. I've changed all the presets to my own settings and use an ART X-15 controller with it live. I think Rocktron has some patches on their site, but I haven't been there in a while.

I have one too!.. I love it and it loves me.

My main crunch patch is a modification of 'dirty harry' which I find extremely versatile.

I use a Digital Music Corps Ground control for switching presets (basically because I couldn't find a used Midi Mate... but My buddy has one, and is quite pleased with its performance). *My only complaint about it is that the switches are a little too wide, and my clumsy foot sometimes hits 2 switches at the time, or the wrong one with the side of my shoe, which can of course ruin a solo
I don't have my presets set-up sont by song on it, I prefer style by style..

I used it live.. the thing is bullet proof.. and it never crashed or anything.. the speaker sim does the job honestly. *I don't like to bother with amp miking...

I'm running it through a home made hi-fi amp and a marshall 412. *But I'm currently building a tube amp (from diagrams of Mesa 2:90 i found)... that's gonna rock.

I wish there were VV user groups.. but I'm not aware that there are any.

I basically use 10 presets for most of the stuff I play, 8 dirty & 2 clean. I use the continuous controllers for volume and delay fade in. I run into a BBE 462, then into a Rocktron Velocity 300 power amp pushing four 4x12s. Most places I only use 2 cabs, but I'm a firm beleiver in overkill!! Besides, the monitors always seem to suck and I need to hear myself. *
I also really like the speaker sim on this unit, it adds a lot to the sound.
* All in all, I've had it for about 3 years and have no complaints!
