Vox Valvetronix

I recently tried the Vox Valvetronix amp, and I was very impressed.
It feels like the perfect amp for me. The distorted sounds where great, and the clean was very good too.
I escpecially liked the rectifier, on which I could dial in some great Petrucci sounds.
What do you guys think.
Are there any better digital amps, in that price range?

I really like the valvetronix. I gig with it all the time. It just sounds great no matter what kind of room or volume I'm playing at. I've had many amps and still do But, the Valvetronix is so flexible and easy to play with I rarely ever take my other amps.

The Vox Valvetronix popularity is growing rapidly. It's a great, flexible amp with awesome tone. They look great, too! Heads and cabinets for this line are expected to hit store in the late Fall-Cool! Also, on the gigging factor-they're not to heavy-very cool!

I only tried it at low volume. Does it sound as good when you crank it up, or does the sound get harsh?

i personally like the sounds from the line6, but the power section of the vox valvetronix is to die for. those things are very tubey. lots of sag and warm. if line6 could come up with the power amp like that with their product, it would be all over. if vox would get smart, they would make just a power amp based on that technology. they could use it to drive mosvalve and rocktron out of the power amp market. not to mention it would bet perfect in a pod pro rig.

I've read some reviews on harmony-central, and it's getting great reviews.
What do you think. Should I save some money and buy the 60 watt 1*12, or should I take 120 watt instead?
I didn't test the powerreducer switch. Anyone who has?
