Wanna tune up my amp

I own a nice tube amp head with a 4 x 12 cabinet and which sounds nice... It is hand made and it didnt cost me that much money. But, the first thing I realised was that it has chineese made tubes, so Im thinking about changing them for some groove tubes... The amp is similar to a mesa boogie rectifier, it was made to sound similar to one of them. So, do you think groove tubes would be a nice replacement?
Another thing, which other parts should I consider to replace to make it sound better? I dont know so much about electronics so I need your help.

GT source their tubes from various places, including China. They go through a further selection process, but you may well still have Chinese tubes. Don't judge them on their country of origin, judge them on their sound. You say the amp sounds nice, so what do you want to change about it?

I would try some different speaker cabinets or speakers first. Other than that lower gain preamp tubes may be worth trying, your first tube sets the whole gain staging.

Upgrading the transformer would make a very noticeable difference, but is also very expensive.

Right?

Hi mate! I think you own a Vintage Electric Nu Twin, isn't that right!? You got yourself a great amp, I got a Nu Twin Super Lead which is a Soldano SLO100 copy and it has THE sound I was looking for for so many years. I would recommend you try with different speakers as many people here pointed out, it really makes a noticeable difference.
Saludos capo!!!!!!
