Was this a good deal? - just asking...

I bought a brand new JCM 2000 DSL 100W head and a 1936 2x12" cab for $1138. Was it a good deal or I got ripped off?

Congratulations my friend!

If you love the way it sounds and if you feel that you don't want to turn it off once you've pluged in then it was a superb deal.

If you like the way it sounds and are not very happy at the moment, but if you believe that by keeping working on it you can get nice tones out of it then it was a good deal.

So, at what level is your excitement and joy in playing with that toy? (No, I don't rap usually.)

DUDE! Where did you get a deal like that!? Sheesh. Maybe I'm completely wrong but when I was in the market for a 1936 cab, I saw most of them running to 350 or so. And the JCM 2000 should be at least a grand by itself so already you payed 200 less then most people. And I think the head is actually more then a grand. But like I said I could be wrong...Sounds to be like an awesome deal. Congrats on the great gear man.

now if only i could save up a grand I'd buy 2 nice 1960B cabs....Oooo...
