Weird stuff happening.

I run a pretty simple setup.
Guitar to a EVH MXR Phase 90 to a Carvin Legacy.

I started hearing voices coming out of my amp this evening. I thought I was going nuts so I called my wife and daughter in and asked them to listen. Sure enough, it's someone preaching at a church.

Here's where it gets weird. When I shut off the phase 90 the preaching goes away.

I have had phones do that before. But never an effects pedal.

Anyone else ever have issues with possible frequency crossings?

Yes, I have. My rack system years ago seemed to be picking up all kinds of weird stuff every once in a while.

my friend use to pick up police scanners so he'd always know if the cops were coming to tell him to turn down his music.... by the time they got to his house it would already be hidden hahahaha

bad ground, do you run your phase 90's power supply and the amp through a power conditioner?

I got radio signals when I had my wah pulled back once. Except it was a foreign language.

Have you tried puting the mxr in the effects loop? (after the distortion that most likely amplifies everything...)
