don't know why, but I always seem to get a good tone when I have everything at 5 and everything at 10. So for my 2 channels on my line 6 I have
gain-5
bass-5
mid-5
treble-5
and
gain-10
bass-10
mid-10
treble-10

Gain
- 10 (maxed)
Treb
- 12:00 O'Clock to 1:00 O'Clock
Mid
- it varies, I guess more towards 12:00 O'Clock
Bass
- 10 (maxed)
Pres
- 10 (maxed)
Resonance
(it's like added low end control) - 10 (maxed)
Vol
- that totally depends on where I am. Mostly at home so probably like 0.25.
