What have you bought in the last week?

I bought a Roland FC-300, a pair of live wire 20ft long midi cables and a Boss PSA-120S power supply. I bought the midi controller last friday and took it home. Upon opening the box @ home, I found out how cheap roland is because they didn't even include a power supply with this thing, nor did they include a midi cable to connect it to a device. The only things inside the box were a pack of 6AA batteries, and the manual. So yesterday I went back to GC and bought the midi cables and the power supply so I could connect it to my GT-Pro.

6505+ on blowout.It was blowing fuses.Changed the tubes.Stopped blowing fuses.I'm a happy camper.I also got around to putting v30s in an empty trace elliot cab I had lying around for a year.

I dont like strats. At all. I find that the tone on most of them is just weak. I told my teacher that and he flipped. He took me to a store and put a 84'standard, american standard, two american custom shops, a john mayer, and a Eric Johnson in front on me. The 84 was to "punchy" the standard was shabbily constructed, the custom shop was ok but not worth two grand , the mayer just sucked, and the EJ WAS AMAZING. It is so versitale. Its the best parts of every strat in one super strat. It is the only strat i will ever own. I havent put it down this whole week. I LOVE THIS STRAT!!!!

I bought a Splawn 2x12 to match my current rig. The 4x12 is just getting to be too much to carry for little jams and practices.

1)A replacement pod xt pro to replace the old one while i get it fixed (if possible)

2)Pick holders for headstocks

3)Some tubing to wrap around the "umbilical cord" that runs between the rack and the midi cotroller/wah

I totally agree about the EJ. Regarding the Mayers though, I set up 2 of them about a year or so ago. One of them was nothing spectacular, and the other was one of the best guitars I've ever played, in tone, construction and feel. Fender seems to be a little inconsistent but when they're on, they're freaking ON.
