Re: What have you bought in the last week?

I was looking for a strat(must be getting older) and found an esp vintage plus 20yr anniversary instead.Much more suitable for me.It has a floyd,emg's-an 89 and two sa singles,a killer neck w/maple board and a gold finish.Number 8 of 20.Its completely mint and plays better than most strats I've tried.I also found another gibson at a pawnshop-"the paul" and traded that and an eclipse for a new horizon fr2.The fr2 plays and sounds excellent. After the last several weeks of wheeling and dealing and an emptier wallet, I think the g.a.s. tank might be empty.

The Ego Booster by SPF(smart people factory).
Boutique clean-boost ftw!

Haven't received it yet, but when I do, I'll post a review or something.
The thing that attracted me to this pedal was the switchable tone shaper knob. You can actually bypass the knob by turning it off, but still get the basic clean boost. Excellent concept...we'll see how it works in practice.

That was a corking score on that BSB. Just one of those auctions where people either forget about it (it was a 10-day'er) or don't get home from work in time to bid if they do remember.

Either way, I hope you enjoy it! ...you bastard!

I forgot about the les paul classic I found last week and the american deluxe strat yesterday.I haven't owned a gibson or fender since the late 70's.They play and sound great depending on application. When it comes to fast shredding and whammy usage the ibbys still rule.
